It is the leading dementia charity in the United Kingdom that funds vital research into developing a cure and ultimately prevent dementia for everyone. Right now in 2022, they are investing more money than ever in dementia research, and attracting some of the best and brightest minds in the field.
They also support many people who would otherwise be facing dementia alone. The Coronavirus has made life much tougher for those with dementia. Reduced social contact has had a devastating effect on people’s mental health, and the charity needs more help than ever.

How Much Has Been Raised So Far
The very first book, The Air Between Us, was put on sale in March 2022 (hurray!). The donations report below provides a monthly break-down on all sales and amounts raised.
Currently, we are in the process of making our Ebooks free to download. To celebrate this milestone, £0.20 is being donated by Averon Publishing for each copy. That means for every copy read, you are directly supporting The Alzheimer’s Society. This will continue unless we (technically me) at Averon Publishing run out of money and have to reduce the donation amount.
